Fluid Echoes

In a world where cultural boundaries are becoming increasingly fluid, SUPER LOOP presents a vision of innovative design that is rooted in the rich heritage of Middle Eastern craftsmanship while embracing a universal, evolving narrative. The inaugural collection, Fluid Echoes, seeks to foster a dynamic exchange of ideas, blending Eastern and Western aesthetics into a seamless dialogue. Drawing from the deep traditions of Middle Eastern artistry, this collection reimagines those elements within the context of contemporary design, giving rise to sleek, metamorphic forms that speak to a spirit of continual evolution.
The Fluid Echoes collection reinterprets traditional forms and functions for today’s world, featuring hand-carved wood and mother of pearl inlay as signature elements. With a fresh perspective, the collection incorporates floral and tree motifs traditionally found in Middle Eastern art, allowing these influences to naturally evolve and merge into the flowing contours of the furniture. Each piece reflects growth and transformation: table legs ripple, mirrors join and warp together, and lamps sprout like trees, embellished with blown glass fruits.
The wood, meticulously carved with sculptural precision, takes on a liquid quality as fragments of mother of pearl appear stirred into its texture or rise as prominent ornamental features. Crafted from a blend of diverse woods, including American poplar, German beech, and pine, the collection also features contemporary elements such as gradient glass and steel. In this evolving landscape, SUPER LOOP’s creations continue to grow, exploring cultural exchange and transformation, with future collections drawing inspiration from a wide array of global traditions.
